Rates 

MEDIATION RATES
Mediations are billed at a flat daily or half daily rate.


Full Day (up to 9 hours): $5,000

Half Day (4 hours; 8am – 12pm or 1pm – 5pm): $2,500  Half days are only scheduled for “local” mediations, limited to  the following counties:  San Francisco, Marin, Alameda, Contra Costa, Solano, Napa, Sonoma.

Travel Costs:  Actual travel costs (airfare, hotel room, meals) are charged to the parties.  Travel time is included in the daily rate and is not charged to the parties.

Please Note:

  •  All fees include preparation time and 3-4 hours follow-up after mediation.  If additional time is required, the parties will be informed and additional time will be billed at $500 per hour.
  • Multi-day mediations can be scheduled.  Please call 415-419-2550 to discuss multi-day rates.
  • All fees are due 10 days prior to mediation.
  • Mediation fees are non-refundable for time that is scheduled, but only partially used. 





E-DISCOVERY/DISCOVERY DISPUTE RATES

Discovery Disputes are billed at an hourly rate, plus an administrative filing fee.


Initial Filing Fee:  $250 per party per motion

Hourly Rate:  $500 per hour for preparation, hearing and preparation of any written recommendation; $450 per hour for review of documents


Please Note: 

  • Most discovery hearings take place telephonically,  or via video conference.  If you would like to schedule an in-person meeting, please contact 415-429-2550 for dates.
  • All e-discovery disputes require a pre-filing conference call with counsel and knowledgeable IT personnel to explain any platform or network architecture issues.





ARBITRATION RATES

Arbitrations are billed at an hourly rate, plus an initial administrative filing fee.


Initial Filing Fee:  $250 per party
Hourly Rate:  $500 per hour for preparation and hearing


Travel Costs:  Actual travel costs (airfare, hotel room, meals) are charged to the parties.  Travel time is included in the hourly rate and is not charged to the parties. 


Please Note:

  • The Initial Filing Fee is due with the filing of the initial briefs.  Hourly fees will be billed to the parties upon completion of the matter and are due within 30 days of invoicing.
